Cultural exposure helps children grow a genuine interest in a language. Meeting other children and families at our festival celebrations also nurtures friendship and a sense of belonging to our Mandarin community.

Happy Chinese New Year!
With the year of dog running away, the year of pig is trotting towards us.
To celebrate another good year of luck and happiness, we are hosting a Chinese New Year concert including traditional Chinese folk songs and themed children crafts.
Time January 27th from 2pm-4pm
Location Craig Family Centre in Ashburton
Fee Free entry & $3/child for handicraft
